15:4. பின்னும் அப்சலோம்: வழக்கு வியாஜ்யமுள்ளவர்கள் எல்லாரும் என்னிடத்தில் வந்து, நான் அவர்களுக்கு நியாயஞ்செய்யும்படிக்கு, என்னை தேசத்திலே நியாயாதிபதியாக வைத்தால் நலமாயிருக்கும் என்பான்.

15:4. அப்சலோம் மேலும், "யாராகிலும் என்னை இந்நாட்டின் நீதிபதியாக நியமித்தால் சிக்கலோடு வருகிற ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனுக்கும் நான் உதவக் கூடும். அவனுக்குத் தக்க தீர்ப்பு கிடைப்பதற்கு நான் உதவுவேன்" என்பான்.

15:4. Absalom would then say, "If only they would make me a judge in the land! Then everyone who had a judicial complaint could come to me and I would make sure he receives a just settlement."

15:4. I wish I were the judge. Then everyone could bring their cases to me for judgment, and I would give them justice!"

15:4. Absalom said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man who hath any suit or cause might come unto me, and I would do him justice!
